Hey! Tolaria’s launch has been absolutely incredible so far!

It went viral on X, got a ton of replies via email (sorry if I didn’t get back to everyone yet!) and an insane 700 stars on Github.

As a refresher, if you missed yesterday’s email, Tolaria is a free & open source desktop macOS app for managing markdown knowledge bases. It’s similar to Obsidian, but:

• The look & feel and editor is closer to Notion

• Has opinionated ideas about how to organize notes into types and views

• Has first-class git support for syncing files

• Is 100% open source
