As far as I know domain driven design can minimize the gap between the tech and biz if you apply it properly.
But the time to market problem is usually collapse the code architecture

I'm using 1:1 meeting from about 3 month: it's a great opportunity to find problems or conflicts often invisible. And, as Dominica Degrandis says, we should always "make work visible" :)
