Trying to figuring this out as well. There are too many services to pay for if one wants to keep a reasonable healthy flow :( Plus the newsletter subscriptions, other learning subscriptions...it adds a lot, like never before really in contemporary history.
So far I'm using a similar flow but sending the interesting articles to my Kindle (using KTool), I use the highlights there to be saved. But I miss something like Readwise, so, so far it's manual copy/paste in a note-taking app (I'm using Anytype for the past 2 years).
Definitely appreciate the commentary about social media. Especially now that all the platforms have moved to purely algorithmic curation, what we get is:
I have been off X for two weeks now and I not regretting it. I keep using Linkedin largely because of Refactoring, but keep dreaming about a "disconnected" life ๐

- Rage bait on Twitter (currently known as X)
- Hive-mind reactions on Reddit.
